Eat. Drink. Nada.

08/29/2019

Matt and I had a date night the other night at Nada, which is a taco and cocktail restaurant located in downtown Cincinnati. (There are four other locations in Columbus, Indianapolis, Nashville, and N. Bethesda). While their tacos and cocktails are the highlights of the resturant, they also serve brunch, salads, and even delicious Mac n' Cheese! Check out what our favorite menu items were below!

We started out dinner with chips and guacamole, and let me tell you it was to DIE for! The guac was so fresh and the perfect amount of chunkiness. The chips were freshly made and also very delicious. The sales was also very fresh, and had a little kick to it. This was a perfect appetizer to start out the night!

Matt had the Nadarita - which was their lime margarita on the rocks. It had el jimador, triple sec, agave, fresh lime. Matt really enjoyed the margarita and ended up ordering a second. I had a refreshing non-alcoholic drink which was their pink grapefruit soda. It seltzer water with a scoop of grapefruit sorbet, and it was AMAZING! I highly recommend this drink because its not too sweet, and it super refreshing!

Matt and I spilt the 'Crispy Skirted "Saganaki" Quesadilla'. Matt and I both agreed that this was by far the BEST quesadillas we've ever had in our life. There was chihuahua cheese and a hint of lemon in the quesadilla which gave it a refreshing, unique taste. There was also a section of 'fried cheese' at the top of the quesadilla, and THIS was crunchy goodness. Seriously, go to nada and get these quesadillas. You will not be disappointed; trust me.

We also ordered a side of their Mac n' Cheese which had roasted poblano, jalapeno, garlic breadcrumb. It was creamy and cheesy, and had a slight spice to it! This was another great choice!

The tacos. This definitely topped off the night! Matt ordered the Baja Fish tacos which had beer-battered mahi fish, pickled cabbage, and chipotle crema. There were so many unique flavors with this taco; it was unlike anything we've ever had! The pickled cabbage made the taco a little sweeter, but the chipotle crema gave it a little kick. the fish was cooked perfectly and was delicious! I got the Mexico City Pastor, which had chili-marinated pork, onion, and pickled pineapple. The pork had great texture, flavor and spice, and the pineapple was the perfect touch of sweetness. Definitely recommend both of. these tacos!

Matt and I had a great experience at Nada. The food, the service, and the atmosphere was top notch! We cannot wait to go back and try some of their other menu items!

Check out what else they have on the menu here!
